How do I access the Member areas?
In order to access Member information you need to login. Please click "Members" in the navigation bar at the top. Click on the gray button to enter your email and password.
How do I update my email address , change my password or change my member photo?
In the Member Portal area click on "View your account" from there in the "About" section you can edit your name, address, phone numbers, email address spouse's name and password. Importnat: Make sure to click "Save & Continue" Click on "Profile" to replace your picture.
What if I forget my password?
On the member login page there is a link "Request Password". Click on it an you will receive an email with a password allowing you login. If you need additional help with login problems, email you can email email@example.com.
What is the Members Portal?
Think of the "Member Portal" as the home page of your mobile phone. All the major links you need to access are clearly displayed with icons so you can click on them. When you need to look into another area, return to the portal and click another icon.
How do I correct information on my profile page?
You can access your member profile page by going to the Member Portal then click on Member Directory, and clicking on your name. This includes your OGC History and other important information. If you would like to correct something on your Member profile page, (other than email, address, phone and spouse), you can email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please let us know which information you feel is incorrect.
Can I see a list of all the pages on the Members Website?
Yes, on the Member Portal Page, scroll to the bottom half and there is a full list of the pages. You can click on any page and go directly to it.
Club Events and Activities
How do I sign up for an event?
Go to the Club Calendar, click on the event then click "Register Now". Select the number of people attending. If payment is required, you will immediately see a drop down requesting credit card information, (if you prefer to pay by check scroll to the bottom). Once you are done, click REGISTER. You will receive email confirmation of your registration for the event.
Can I propose an activity/event for the Club?
We encourage all members to participate and suggest activities for the club. Go to Club Business then Member Forms and fill out the online Activity/Event Submission Form.
Can I see who has signed up for an upcoming event?
Interested in carpooling or just seeing who is attending an upcoming event? All you have to do is view the Member Directory, click on the "See who is going to upcoming events", then click on the event, make sure the event is blue, then click "Search".
You will see everyone that has signed up for that event.
Committees, Club Business and Documents
How do I sign up to be a part of a committee?
If you would like to view the committee descriptions and sign up online go to the "Committee Sign Up" page by clicking here. If you would like to see who is chairing each committee, go to Club Business and look at the Officers and Committee List. Sign up for as many committees as you would like.
Is there a list of GCA/OGC awards?
In the Member Directory, on each member's profile page you can see a list of their awards and club history. If you would like to see the full list of awards that the Orinda Garden Club and members have garnered over the years just visit the Awards Page.
How do I submit a check request for reimbursement?
You can now submit a check request and upload your receipt online. Click here to go to form to submit your request for reimbursement.
Can I see past issues of Forget Me Nots or Minutes?
We have a link to past Forget Me Nots and Club Minutes in the Club Business Section. Go to that page, then click on Forget Me Nots Archive or Member Forms & Documents for the Minutes.
How do I submit an article for Forget Me Nots or Down the Garden path?
We encourage members to submit ideas and articles to our two member publications.
