Scattering seeds…Honoring the roots of our traditions
MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY
Our commitment to cultivating beauty in our community and beyond has grown for nearly 85 years. Planting Cork Oak trees at Lake Cascade and Pines and shrubs around the Orinda Community Center in the late 1930’s led to greater civic involvement through the decades to come. Some seeds are small - spreading poppies at the freeway off ramp – and some seeds are large - supporting Save the Redwoods – and all are nurtured by our dedicated members. |
