Plant Sale
The Orinda Garden Club holds an annual plant sale, most recently on April 15, 2023, at the Library Plaza, featuring a variety of vegetables, herbs, annuals, perennials, native plants, and succulents. The event also includes a marketplace with garden-related items, used books from the library, and informational tables on topics like firewise landscaping and attracting monarchs.
Items Available
Plants: Hard-to-find tomato varieties, peppers, squash, beans, herbs, sunflowers, cosmos, zinnias, salvias, and native plants.
Marketplace: Garden tools, supplies, garden art, and birdhouses.
Books: Used gardening books from the Orinda Library.
Informational Booths:Ask the Garden Expert: Local Master Gardeners available to answer questions.
Native Plant Table: Learn about native plants and their benefits.
Firewise Landscaping: Information on fire-safe planting and the city's chipper program.
Moraga for Monarchs: Milkweed seedlings and information on attracting monarchs.
