Our speaker will be David George. He is a Lafayette resident where her tends 4 acres. He is a member of the UC Master Gardeners of Contra Costa County. He writes gardening articles for the Master Gardeners newsletter, News to Grow By and he writes for the Diablo Gazette under the title of The Naked Gardener! Naked from pesticides, not clothing. His current article is about the new composting law taking effect this month, making it a law to provide everyone in our community access to composting.
He will be speaking to our club about natural ways to deal with fruit snatching rodents and other pests in our gardens right here in Lamorinda.
